Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine the relation of The pressures of the school environment at the level of mental health among first-grade students, as well as identifying the differences between males and females in the pressures of the school environment and mental health, and what are the dimensions of school pressures that predict the level of mental health among first-grade students, where the study was conducted on a sample consisting of ( 400) male and female students (213 female and 187 male and female students) from the first secondary class of the al-Qanaiyat Secondary Common School, affiliated to the Educational Channel Administration, A measure of school environment pressure (the researcher’s preparation), and a mental health measure for young people (prepared by al-Quraiti and the person) were applied to them.

Where the results of the study showed that there is a negative correlation at the level of significance (0,01) between the pressures of the school environment in its various dimensions and the dimensions of the level of feeling of mental health, which explains the existence of an inverse correlation between the high level of school pressures corresponding to a decrease in the feeling of mental health, and also the presence of significant differences Statistically at the level of significance (0,01) between males and females in the pressures of the school environment in favor of females and this means that females are more vulnerable to school pressures than males, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) between males and females in mental health for females , This means that females are more likely to have lower mental health than males, and the results also show that mental health can be predicted for high school students through the prevailing school climate in high school.

The study recommends the need to develop competence and self-confidence and instill a spirit of positive assistance and social relationship because of its strong influence in raising the rates of mental health and psychological and social harmony among students.
