Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the phenomenon of cyber bullying in the Algerian teenager, where the study was conducted on a purposive sample of adolescents, who numbered 50 adolescents as victims of cyber bullying, obtaining high degrees on the diagnostic scale of cyber bullying victims.

The researcher relied on the survey method, and the results obtained indicate that the phenomenon of cyber bullying is a social problem that threatens the psychological security of the individual and society, because of its psychological, social and even economic consequences.

Accordingly, it was designed through an intentional sample by distributing the diagnostic scale for cyber bullying victims prepared by researcher Amina Ibrahim al-Shenawi to members of the community of adolescents, who numbered : 250 adolescents.

Between 16 and 21 years old.

The members of the sample were identified as adolescent victims of cyber bullying who obtained high scores, which exceeded the average of 13 responses on the diagnostic scale of cyber bullying victims.

The results revealed that cyber bullying is a source of psychological distress that affects their academic success in the long term, as they are more likely to fall victim to their romantic relationships, and that their feeling of frustration and sadness makes them vulnerable to stress and stop studying as well as they suffer from isolation that can explain the reason for their continued in circles Repeated social contributions that contribute to their harm, and in light of these results, the study presented a number of recommendations that could contribute to developing a preventive and training program to face cyber bullying before it became more common among adolescents.
