The person who wants to protect a property from sale, donation, inheritance, and so on has a waqf, which is to block that property so that its benefits accrue to the poor and the charity.

It is well known that every investment must have two essential elements : good governance and efficient management.

Algeria has an administrative structure in charge of effectively managing the waqfs assets at its disposal, through this study, we aim to identify the bodies in charge of endowment management so that we can understand the mechanisms and procedures of the endowments, as the legislator made them at the central and local levels, in the end we will ensure the ability of these devices to the exercise of their powers and prerogatives, let us conclude that the legislator tightened the organization of the body responsible for administering the waqf.
