This study aimed to prepare a rational mental-behavioral counseling program to reduce maternal abuse of mentally disabled children and the impact on their mental health before and after the program was implemented on mothers, Develop mental health for the mentally disabled by reducing maternal abuse through the counseling program 4 counseling mothers to proper ways of dealing with mentally disabled children so that they have psychological safety through the counseling program 4 detecting the continuation of the impact of the counseling program in preventing the mothers abuse for their mentally disabled children after a period of time *a month, identifying certain forms of abuse of children with mental disabilities .The study sample consisted of i (^(-mothers of mentally disabled children enrolled in the Maharat Center for Special Needs in Alexandria and those aged (2540) who had high scores in the scale of mothers' abuse for their mentally disabled ‘ii-children Mental Disabilities aged (9-13) males and females with IQ (50_70 .(The researcher used the the colored progressive matrices scale (prepared by John Raven, 1947), translated by Abdul-Fattah Al-Qurashi, 1987) to measure the intelligence level of mentally disabled children scale of mothers' abuse for their disabled children (Prepared by the researcher), The psychological safety measure for children with mental disabilities (Prepared by the researcher ‘(the counseling program to prevent the abuse of mothers for mentally disabled children)Prepared by the researcher .(The study results showed statistically significant differences between average grades of mothers belonging to the control group in both the pre- and post measurement of the dimensions of maternal abuse of mentally disabled children and the total grade for the pre-test measurement ‘ there were statistically significant differences between the average grade of the children used in the sample of the study (the experimental sample) in the pre and post measurement of psychological security in favor of the post measurement, while there were no statistically significant differences between the average grades of the children of the study sample regarding post and consecutive measures of psychological safety ‘There were no statistically significant differences between the average grades of the children belonging to the control group in the post-test measurement of the mental security dimensions and the total grade, depending on the gender variant (male / female).
