Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the reasons for children with autistic disorder avoiding visual communication from the viewpoint of parents and specialists.

The researchers used the descriptive method.

They adopted the autism disorder diagnostic scale (Adel Abdullah preparation, 2003) and the visual perception assessment scale for the child with autism (prepared by the researcher).

The results confirmed that the reasons for children with autism disorder to avoid visual communication from the point of view of parents and specialists is due to the fact that the child with autism is unable to perceive things around him and form relationships with peers, and the deficiencies in the previous areas result in many problems, such as if the child becomes in a state of isolation and permanent unity need to integrate the techniques of behavior modification and overcome the problems and difficulties of children with autism, and the activities provided for children with autism also help to break the barrier of isolation that they imposed on themselves and integrate with others, because these children carry positive capabilities along with deficiencies, which can its development to overcome manifestations of weakness and shortcomings.
