Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the Obstacles to the implementation of the individual education plan for students with learning disabilities in the elementary schools as a perspective of their teachers in the province of Jeddah, and exploring effect of variables (gender, academic qualification, number of years of experience) on teachers responses.

The researcher used the descriptive approach.

A questionnaire that developed by the researcher consisted of four dimensions representing Obstacles to the implementation of the individual education plan (Obstacles related to the teacher, Obstacles related to the school, Obstacles related to the family, Obstacles related to the student).

The participants were (220) teachers of learning disabilities in the province of Jeddah, (160) of males and (60) of females.

The results showed large extent obstacles on four dimensions as order, obstacles related to the family, obstacles related to the school, obstacles related to the teacher, then obstacles related to the student.

Also, the results showed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of teachers responses about the obstacles due to the variable of gender for males, but also, it found no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of teachers responses about the obstacles due to the variable of academic qualification and the variable of number of years of experience.
