Abstract EN

The main objective of the study is to identify the reality of transform towards the knowledge economy at the Sudan University of Science and Technology.

The study adapted the descriptive approach.

The sample of the study consisted of (44) members of the teaching staff, the researcher prepared and applied a questionnaire consisted of (55) statements.

The study results revealed that : the knowledge economy elements are available to a high degree in the Sudan University of Science and Technology with an arithmetic mean (4.20), the awareness of faculty members is very high towards the knowledge economy requirements in the Sudan University of Science and Technology with an arithmetic mean (4.43), the characteristics of the orientation towards the knowledge economy came In Sudan University of Science and Technology with a very high estimate with an arithmetic mean (4.31), the benefits of the economy based on knowledge came with a very high estimate and with an arithmetic mean (4.39), there is a significant positive correlation at the level of significance (0.01 (α =) between the overall degree of the questionnaire and the domains.

The study recommends : Emphasizing the university administration in adopting the knowledge economy, activating the Deanship of Development and Quality to ensure various activities to enhance the knowledge economy, and marketing of patents at home and abroad to encourage researchers to serve the community.
