Abstract EN

Arabic language is one of the most important methods of communication among community members.

It is also the basis of our civilization and progress.

At the elementary stage, Arabic language is considered to be the student's tool for expressing needs and feelings as well as for academic achievement.

Thus, it has got an exceptional status at this stage.

Language incorporates four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Each skill has a set of sub-skills.

Yet, it is noticeable that at this stage, especially in the first grades, there is an obvious interest in reading and writing skills due to the benefits accrued to the student.
