Socializing is a process through which individuals learn patterns of behavior and thinking prevailing in their surroundings, and teach them values and customs to achieve compatibility between individuals within society.

This process is affected by the environment around the child, such as the family and all other variables affecting it, including information technology.

Because today's children live in the world of technology, they are the generation of the Internet or the digital generation and other peculiarities that distinguish this generation from previous generations, where the family cannot isolate their children from information technology, the most important of which is the Internet because of its advantages, and thus parents face increasing challenges to direct the uses of their children For the Internet.

Therefore, this paper came as an attempt to answer the following Questions : What are the children's uses of the Internet? What are its effects on children's behavior and social development? Can the Arab and Algerian family be able to adopt certain mechanisms to protect their children from the dangers of the Internet?
