Abstract EN

The daily journey inside and outside the cities is a form of population movement around the world.

This research discusses an example of a sample of female students from the Faculty of Arts at Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University on the daily trip to and from the university.

The research problem dealt with evaluating the daily trip for students of the Faculty of Arts at Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University.

Which resulted in several goals that were achieved in the context of the research, and by answering the questions of the study.

Whereas, the characteristics of the sample were revealed socially and economically.

And highlighting her role as an influencing factor in classifying the transportation system for the trip, its most important problems, and evaluating the students ’satisfaction with it.

The research study concluded with several results, including the existence of three systems for the daily trip to the university (private transport, government transport and fare transportation).

The selection ratios for any system vary according to the economic and social characteristics of the sample.

More than half of the female students in the sample depend on the government mass transportation system, at a rate of 56.7 %.

The results of these results have resulted in several recommendations, the most important of which are conducting periodic surveys and studies on the daily journey of university students to find out about the problems they face during the trip, and their impact on their academic achievement.
