The concept of the smart city has appeared in our Arab world recently and began to take place in the thinking of governments and individuals with us in order to reach one of its goals that is trying to change the image of the city in front of its residents and users of its services, perhaps the Arab Gulf region is one of the most prominent environments that tried to embrace the new concept of the city and seek a rapid urban transformation Towards achieving high rates of using artificial intelligence and its various urban applications.

Therefore, some Gulf cities have emerged topped in this field, such as Dubai, Sharjah, Doha, and some urban projects in various countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council that were established to be projects managed with artificial intelligence and digital technology.

The GCC countries differed in their adoption of the quality Technology used in its cities that is intended to be more intelligent, some of them adopted the option of the electronic city as in the Emirati source city, and others adopted the option of electronic government as in Dubai and others adopted smart urban projects as in Doha and Riyadh, and this difference created a kind of urban competition between the projects of those countries in a speed Reaching the "smart city" and applying it on the ground with a kind of confidence, challenge and adventure at the same time The results of the evaluation of the experiment showed that the Gulf city, with its material capabilities and knowledge management, is the Arab city capable of showing a response and a rapid change towards achieving the concept of smart cities in the Arab Gulf region.
