Abstract EN

The aim of the present study was to determine the classification of deception performance for high level players in badminton through tools, areas, parts and skills which used in deception, and more common used in badminton.

Descriptive survey method was used.

The performance of 662 deception situation was analyzed which included 8261 repeated used tools in deception.

It was done through observation of 57 matches from national and international championships for high level players in badminton in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It is concluded that, there are six deception tools namely; change the speed, hold, drop down, dual motion, change of direction and rotation.

In addition, it was found two main types of deception in badminton which are simple and complex deception.

Concerning simple deception, it was involved deception by change the speed and deception by change of direction.

As regard complex deception, it was comprised of deception by slicing, deception by holding, deception by holding and drop down, deception by double motion, and deception by rotation.
