Abstract EN

The purpose of this study aimed I to investigate the effectiveness of using some teaching styles on gaining some gymnastic skills for female student at Yarmouk university, during the first semester of academic year 2016/2017.the sample of study consists of (75)female students, whom enrolled in the gymnastic course, the students were divided into three groups, and each group was taught according to the teaching style for eight weeks , the researcher used the experimental method suit to the nature and objective of the study, in order to achieve to obtain the results of the study, the statistical package for social sciences(SPSS) was used , The results of the study show that the style of problem solving style ranked first in the achievement of the students.

The results also show improvement of the group studied in a problem-solving style better than group studied by practical style.

Finally, the researchers recommend to use the problem-solving style to teach gymnastics skills to students of the advanced age stages and encourage and students to use and apply modern teaching styles.
