Abstract EN

The Environmental crisis occurred during the second half of the last century.

The unrealistic exploitation of non-renewable natural resources such as oil, coupled with the pollution caused by the overall economic activity, has lead to a new concept of development known as durable development.

This concept is trying to cover both economic efficiency and social justice without harming environment.

In so doing we can ensure that no economic development can be realized without taking into consideration environment, which means that any development must necessarily convene environment.

This paper tries to highlight the instruments that may contribute to the achievement of the maximum economic benefits while respecting environmental criteria.
