Abstract EN

This article deals with the real contribution of participative democracy in the management of territorial public affairs, therefore, we treated in the first axis the place of participative democracy in the 2011 constitution, while presenting the main novelties in this area .

Thus, we have spoken of the degree of establishment of the mechanisms for the execution of participatory democracy at the territorial level via the organic laws of local authorities and in accordance with the 2011 constitution.

In the second axis we treated the role of participative democracy as a mechanism that participates in the management of public affairs at the territorial level, thus, we raised the obstacles of the implementation of participative democracy and which block the development process.

also, we spoke about the new horizons which can take part in the reinforcement of the place of participative democracy in the territorial management of the public affairs.
