Abstract EN

The Algerian revolution made its voice heard to the world and the Egyptian media played an important role in following and publishing the evolution of the situation between 1954 and 1962 in Algeria.

This article aims to follow the cover of a part of the Egyptian press of the Algerian revolution, analysing the positions of some French elites and some anticolonialist personalities.

In this study, we concluded that the Egyptian media coverage of French voices calling for end to the war in Algeria was very important, because it clarified the real stakes of the Algerian people's revolution and at the same time countering the propaganda of the pro-French.
