Nasser Hamed Abou Zayd was considered as one of the modern intellectuals who tended to understand the Quranic revelation , and deducted the frequent scientific issues which were going hand in hand with its iterpretation , thus he distinguished between two streams represented in ancient Salafi at hand and modernist Salafi at the other hand ,this latter that he saw as a nessecity to be supported by the scientific consciousness otherwise it would be more dangerous than the previous one .

And the problematic that is asked in this study focuses on the way Nasser switched from criticizing the Salafi moving up to establish the scientific one
