The critical movement witnessed a wave of critical approaches that sought to employ a set of procedures for examining texts and deciphering them, and the aesthetics of receiving is one of these theories that its pioneers deliberately formulated its principles and procedural tools, in order to help the learner and critic to reveal the aesthetics of texts and send a new soul in them with each reading, The Maghreb critic and researcher has adopted this theory and projected it on his Arabic texts, which we will try to clarify by answering the following problem: What is the aesthetic of reception and how did the Maghreb criticism adopt it?
