Abstract EN

This study aimed at diagnosing the reality of E-public service in local communities by identifying the extent of adopting information and communication technology in management practices and their role in improving the service.

To achieve the goal, the descriptive analytical method was adopted, were also used observation, examining documents and interviews with officials to obtain honest information from the source.

The study showed a positive change in the quality of service provided.

the modern technologies contributed to more transparency, avoidance of mistakes and easy accountability, which increase the efficiency of local administration.

Inspite of that the latter remains far from international experiments in the field, and this is due to various challenges and constraints that undermine the efforts made to modernize it, foremost of which is the lack of efficient human resource, which is the mainstay of the process.
