The The Algerian legislator has adopted the obligation of liability insurance for persons exercising a liberal legal profession.

The adoption of this procedure is due to its importance for the profession as well as for professionals or beneficiaries of its services, aimed at protecting professionals from various dangers and consequences in the performance of their duties; as well as the protection of the beneficiaries against the various damages that might be caused to them because of their professional misconduct, particularly from the point of view of being consumers of legal services that are not aware of its details and its consequences.
