Due to its transformation into a highly profitable industry, it plays an important role in the global economy.

The status of tourism is translated through its direct impact on workforce creation, social and cultural promotion, and economic efficiency through the positive impact on GDP, balance of payments and employment.

Algeria has the qualifications to make it like an excellent tourist destination, but it has not succeeded in achieving the desired progress through the tourism policies adopted, for many reasons, particularly the lack of motivation to encourage investment, weak structures and deteriorating quality of services ; Especially at the current time and the economic crisis experienced by the oil markets.
