Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the management of the parliamentary electoral process in Jordan and identifying the nature of the legislative framework governing the parliamentary elections management in 2016, as well as identifying the role of the Independent Election Authority in managing the parliamentary electoral process in 2016, The study concluded that the Jordanian Parliamentary Elections Department contributed to enhancing community confidence and enhancing integrity, transparency and impartiality in the parliamentary elections.

The study recommended expanded the function of the Independent Election Commission to include all electoral processes in Jordan, and work to open branches of the Independent Election Commission in the governorates, and are holding training and awareness programs and exchange of experiences.
