Enter your abstract here (The concept of immanence is devoted in the Saussurian structuralism as the fundamental theoretical principle, but it turns out that the language can’t be outside speech and that its truth lies in the values given to it by the speaker in a particular communicative context, that is which permits the interpretative act of the receiver.

This paper tries to identify the epistemological frame in which the concept of discourse has evolved and to understand the scientific logic that made it a central concept in contemporary linguistics.

At the conclusion, the discourse is the concept in which discourse linguistics recorded a systematic shift toward language contextualization by redefining it in terms of the mechanics of its work.
