Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of the school restaurant in reducing the phenomenon of enteeism and school dropout in primary school students.

The study was applied to a sample of five primary schools in the municipality of Ain al-Reish and the state of Msila.

The sample was selected according to the simple random sample.

Data were collected by means of a survey of all dropouts recorded in the sample of the study, a survey of all enteeism among students and enteeism recorded in the institutions concerned.

Frequency and percentage of leakage and enteeism were used.

The study revealed the following results: - The school restaurant contributes significantly to the reduction of enteeism among primary school students.

- The school restaurant does not contribute to reducing the dropout rate among primary school students.
