Abstract EN

This paper follows and analyzes the decisions and opinions of the Algerian Constitutional Council, issued within the framework of its monitoring of the constitutionality of laws, to examine its concern about the extent to which the legislator respects the legislative drafting rules without which the legislation is not good, and to determine the Council's role in this matter.

The paper concluded that the Algerian Constitutional Council had attached great importance to the drafting of the provisions of the legislation and had established many principles to preserve the integrity of the drafting, and in that context it had been based on the provisions of the Constitution, even implicitly, and the recognized foundations of legal drafting.
