The issue of urban development and urban planning is a modern and contemporary issue and is a top priority in the alignment of development policies and plans in most countries because it is an important factor in framing solutions to the critical urban issues of the 21st century, which requires an urgent need to strengthen the knowledge associated with the implementation of its tools and strategies, as that It determines how to exercise and assess its performance with close attention to its regular updating so as to be more effective and responsive to current and future urban issues.
