Abstract EN

Society is an overall structure that includes many systems that perform different functions, including productive organizations and service institutions, for the perpose of preserving the survival of the soceity and its devlopment.

Each system within this structure has a specific function that meets the needs of the society as individuals and as groups.

Among these important system is the health system; the latter requires physical and other means and requirements that are represented in human ressources such as human efforts, mental capabilities and thoughts.

Any deficiency in this system or any other system in the structure leads to a discruption in the overall of the society.

This function is performed by the goverment as well as the communities.

Based on this the aim of this research is to know to what extent does this institution functions as it should be by previding supplies and maternal and child care institution and specialized human resources such as doctors and their assistants and health protection agents.

To do so the research focused on the description of the department obstetrice and gyneology at Tebessa hospital where a sample of 70 hospitalized women were questioned about their views of the level of services provided by the departement where the results.
