خلال فترة الاحتلال الفرنسي للجزائر لجأت سلطات الاحتلال الفرنسي إلى فرض ضرائب متنوعة على المجتمع الجزائري أدت إلى إفقاره و كانت عائدات الضرائب تصب في مصلحة المستوطنون دون سواهم و تميز النظام الضريبي بالازدواجية و يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على ملامح النظام الضريبي للمحتل الفرنسي و حقيقة الإصلاحات الضريبية التي تدعيها سلطات الاحتلال لأن تفاقم الضرائب أدى إلى اختلالات اقتصادية و اجتماعية خطيرة.
Abstract EN
The French occupation authorities resorted to imposing various taxes on the Algerian society which led to its impoverishment.
The tax revenues were in the interest of the settlers only.
The tax system is characterized by double taxation.
Taxation led to serious economic and social imbalances.

Pendant la période de l'occupation française de l'Algérie, les autorités d'occupation françaises ont imposé à la société algérienne diverses taxes qui ont entraîné son appauvrissement: les recettes fiscales servaient uniquement les intérêts des colons et se caractérisaient par une double imposition.
Les autorités d'occupation, du fait de la dégradation des impôts, ont entraîné de graves déséquilibres économiques et sociaux.
