Political parties are an important player in the decision-making process through their presence in various centers of power and decision-making.

Such as the executive institution represented by the head of state and government, or the legislative institution representing the parliament in both chambers, and we will try through this paper to highlight the reality of partisan practice and its impact on decision-making in Algeria, With some of the obstacles that political parties face in the policy-making process.
