Our research paper aims to highlight the impact of the spread of the corona virus on the Chinese economy, considering that the repercussions of this crisis are the worst and most influential when compared to previous crises, where the growth rate declined by - 3% in 2020, compared to pre-epidemic forecasts where growth in global GDP was expected to increase by 3.3%, and this contraction is expected to continue until 2021, recorded the deepest decline since the great depression crisis nearly a century ago.

The fallout from the spread of the virus, which has resulted in a decline in growth rates, rising unemployment and the accumulation of Chinese debt, is a valuable opportunity for china to revive its "healthy silk road" initiative, which it launched in 2017, as part of its efforts to strengthen its international standing as a global health power in particular and a trade force in general
