Abstract EN

The writings of Al-Jahiz are said to be a chaos due to lack of coherence as far as ideas and themes are concerned.

This article aims at refuting this idea by highlighting the harmony of these writings through Al-Jahiz's commitment to general principles that he never deviates from while discussing and analyzing issues, stating his own point of view.

In order to expose and analyze this idea, we have chosen the asset of "status between two status" as a sample.

We, hence, noticed how Al-Jahiz committed his writing to this asset and considered it to be a basic pillar and atheoretical reference with which he framed much of his issues and themes.

We also noticed how this asset is apparent in many forms and in various fields of knowledge.
