This research paper seeks to shed light on the role of the revolutionary film as a mechanism of the media in establishing and perpetuating the struggle of the Algerian people against the oppression, tyranny and colonial tyranny during the liberation revolution, and documenting important events from the history of Algeria, as the revolutionary film was made with a national motivation that seeks to archive the events of the great liberation revolution, as it is It does not tell a story or present certain historical events that led to the revolution only, but rather perpetuates it in the memory of the people, and transmits it across generations, due to its ability to create, elicit, and invent new art forms that enables the rediscovery of the place from which the revolution originated, and communicates it to various segments that did not This revolution is considered, as the film is cross-border, through its presence on the web platforms, and broadcasted through various television channels, especially Algerian, in the context of introducing the editorial revolution and its heroes and preserving it in the collective historical memory and preserving it, through the transmission of events that embodied the facts of the editorial revolution in a strong and effective voice and image .

The Algerian media, especially television, has shown many revolutionary films that narrate the crimes of the colonialist, and they portray the sacrifices of the Algerian people and their righteous martyrs, among them the film "Dawn of the Tormented" which was produced in 1965, "Wind for Aures" in the same year, "Afyoun and the stick" in 1969, and "The Revolutionaries".

Within this research context, we have undertaken a field study based on the psychological approach to the research sample consisting of two films, and the duration of the first movie is estimated at 1 hour, 56 minutes and 52 seconds.

As for the second movie, its time duration is estimated at two hours, 58 minutes and 37 seconds, and we adopted this approach to answer the problematic issue: how The major stations of the revolution are perpetuated and documented - as part of the history of Algeria - through the revolutionary film as a mechanism of the media ?
