This study aimed to know the suitability of the school bag for pupils in the first years of the elementary education stage, as the study started from the following two questions: - What is the average weight of the school bag carried by the student in the year (1, 2, 3) of elementary education? - What is the ratio of the weight of the school bag to the weight of the student in the year (1, 2, 3) of elementary education? This study relied on the exploratory descriptive approach because it is best suited to such topics.

The study was conducted on a sample of 81 pupils and students selected randomly.

To measure the weights of school bags and students, a medical electronic balance was used and the results of the study were as follows: The average weight of the school bag carried by each student of the sample is 2.
