Abstract EN

The economic thought of Algeria in the colonial period, on various axes, and perhaps the most important establishment of a strong financial system through the arsenal of financial institutions, entrusted with the task of developing mechanisms of agricultural settlement, and accompany the economic mobility in all its structures.

This research paper aims at investigating the deep reasons behind the establishment of the financial system as it relates to the agricultural thought in Algeria, and its effectiveness in promoting the agricultural sector and maintaining the process of its activity, as appropriate for the settlement movement, according to the original documents and source texts.

Let us conclude that the financial institutions, strong and balanced, and had sufficient flexibility and dynamism to move the agricultural project with all its structures in the colony
