This research paper deals with the study of one of the important works in the history of Algeria, in particular the stage of resistance of El-Ameer Abdelkader, where we still do not know the secrets of the failure of that resistance, this author entitled: " Tars Al-Akhbar of what happened in the last forty years of the thirteenth century for Muslims with the unbelievers, " for Al-Arabi Al-Masherfi one of the contemporaries of El-Ameer Abdelkader El-Jazairi chronicles that resistance, but the author is not known in some circles of Algerian historians, neither he nor his writings? , so I touched on the most important stages of his life, introduce this book and then presented the characteristics of the historical writings of Al-Arabi Al-Masherfi.
