Morphology is concerned with the internal characteristics of a word structure, and is mainly concerned with studying the internal structure of words and the corrélations that occur within them, meaning that its interest is morphological objects and the rules that compose these objects, and these objects are the roots, formulas and affixes.

In this article, we will highlight the importance of the morphological component in Modern linguistics studies and address the most important morphological theories that dealt with the nature of the Arabic word and its elements.
