Each speech, written or oral, has the function of convincing.
Each speech generates a speech, and from the moment that there is enunciation, an ethos is released.
Our present article proposes to take up the notion of the “ethos” in a different context, namely the "novelistic" framework.
Literature adopts this persuasive notion in a discursive way, contrary to the contexts in which are usually placed the aristotelian pillar.
It will identify the beam constituting the "image" of the character.
In other words, we will try to reveal the discursive formation of the ethos of the main character Younes-Jonas.
How is made, presented, the image of Younes-Jonas through the lines of Khadra ?.

Chaque discours, écrit ou oral, a pour fonction de convaincre.
Chaque prise de parole engendre un discours, et du moment qu'il y a énonciation, un ethos se libère.
Notre présent article se propose de reprendre la notion d'ethos dans un cadre différent, à savoir le cadre « romanesque ».
La littérature adopte cette notion persuasive d'une manière discursive, contrairement aux contextes dans lesquels est habituellement placé ce pilier aristotélicien.
Il s'agira d'identifier le faisceau constituant « l'image » du personnage.
Autrement dit, nous tenterons de dévoiler la formation discursive de l'ethos du personnage principal Younes-Jonas.
