Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to investigate the level of inclusion of service learning projects in the science textbook for the 2nd intermediate grade, and the trends of the female teachers towards their use in teaching.

And their relationship with teacher's qualification, experience and specialization.

The descriptive approach was used by analyzing the science textbook for the 2nd intermediate grade, And application of the questionnaire about using service learning projects in teaching on (92) female teachers of science in intermediate schools in Taif, were selected randomly.

The results showed a list of (45) service projects suitable for science textbooks in the intermediate stage, And the level of inclusion of these projects in the science textbook for the 2nd intermediate grade was low, repeated 52 times, and the result also showed a very positive trend among science teachers towards the use of these projects in the teaching of science in the intermediate stage.

The results also showed significant differences In each of these trends, the variable of scientific qualification was attributed to the benefit of the female teachers who hold postgraduate studies, and the variable years of experience in favor of the more years.
