Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify and find out the degree of Internet addiction among gifted students.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method.

A scale was used in this study for addiction to the Internet .The study sample consisted of (120) intermediate and secondary students .

Arithmetic Mean and Standard Deviation were used in this study.

A T-test was used to determine the degree of difference which are according to gender variables and school stage.

The most important results as follow: The degree of Internet addiction among gifted students was low generally and with an average of (ٛ 4ٕٗ ) and Standard Deviation of (1.31).

The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≤) between the average gifted students responses and gifted students to the degree of internet addiction attributed to differences in gender.

The results shows that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05≤a) between the average responses of gifted students to the degree of internet addiction attributed to the difference in the educational level of students were for the benefit of secondary students.
