Abstract EN

The current study aimed at investigating the level of reflective thinking skills in 7th grade science textbook in Saudi Arabia, which was its population (2017-2018 Ed.), whereas its sample consisted of first part of the textbook.

To achieve the study's objectives, researcher designed an analysis tool for the reflective thinking skills, where its validity and reliability were highly ensured.

Several statistics procedures were conducted, such as means, standard deviations, frequencies, and percentages.

Results of the study revealed that the 7th grade science textbook generally contained a low rate of reflective thinking skills.

However, percentages of the inclusion were varied.

Finally, some recommendations and research suggestions were posted.
