Abstract EN

The present study aimed at revealing the effect of differences in the two infographic patterns represented in the static pattern and dynamic pattern, on obtaining scientific concepts of computer subject for female students of the first middle grade in Al Baha region.

The study used the semi-experimental approach to measure the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable; the sample included (40) female students of the first middle grade from Al-Sayeda Khadija Bint Khuwailid School for Quran Memorization, divided into two experimental groups: the first group consisted of (20) students studying in the static pattern, and the second group consisted of (20) students studying in the dynamic pattern.

The study tool was an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect associated with the scientific concepts of the computer subject, pre- and post- applied to the two groups.

The results showed a positive effect for using the two infographic patterns (static - dynamic) on the development of the cognitive aspect associated with scientific concepts of computer subject for female students of the first middle grade in Al Baha region; and there are also statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the first experimental group (who was taught using the static infographic pattern) and the second experimental group (who was taught using the dynamic infographic pattern) in the post-test in favor of the second group, and this result indicates the effectiveness of the dynamic infographic in the development of the cognitive aspect associated with scientific concepts of computer subject for female students of the first middle grade; based on these results, the researcher recommended the necessity to adopt using different patterns of infographic in teaching different subjects for middle stage female students in Al Baha region, and to spread awareness toward technical education among female students and teachers.
