Abstract EN

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the faithful Prophet.

This research deals with a translation of the life of Imam Ahmad bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Mahmoud bin Ahmed bin Hajar al-Kanani al-Asqalani, and the importance of the study arises from the greatness of Ibn Hajar'sstatus and his book as he gave himself, his time, his comfort, and his money for the sake of explaining the most correct of what was reported on the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him From a hadith.

Among the most prominent objectives of the research is to contribute to the efforts made by the sincere in serving and preserving the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

In this study, I followed the descriptive analytical approach to translating Ibn Hajar, mentioning his works, and explaining the importance of his book (Fath Al-Bari).

The study concluded that the scholars were unanimous in all regions that (Fath Al-Bari) is one of the best classifications of Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, the most useful and most famous of them, but rather the best and complete explanations on (Sahih Al-Bukhari).

The study also showed the efforts of scholars in the service of the mosque, Fath Al-Bari.

At the end of the research, the recommendations were to hold conferences and symposia, and the scholars indicated their efforts to serve the books of the Sunnah and its men and benefit from the technology in publishing and preserving it
