Abstract EN

Knowledge is a competitive criterion between the countries, especially in light of changes in the global economy, and the rapid developments in technology, which necessitating countries to build a knowledge economy because it’s is the only way to and the main engine for development.

the interest in scientific research, its promotion by the good financing and effective use of human assets, and creating an appropriate environment for researchers undoubtedly in the end allow them to form international scientific publications and patents that reflect the creativity of the human resource and its innovative talents.

Hence the research aims to highlight scientific research in Algeria and its readiness to contribute in the building of knowledge economy, by focusing on the inputs of the scientific research system from human and financial resources and assessment of outputs of this system according to the index of scientific research and development.
