Abstract EN

This paper addressed the topic of indicators for measuring the knowledge economy in Arab countries, The problem of the study was, that the Arab countries face maney, challenges to enter the knowledge economy, The problem revolves around a major question: What are the indicators for measuring the knowledge economy in Arab countries? To answer the question posed, several sub- questions emerged, including: (1)What is the reality of the indicators for measuring the knowledge economy in Arab countries? (2)What is the future vision for preparing an index to measure the knowledge economy in Arab countries? , This study has scientific, and other practicalsignificance, The scientific importance lies in great interest the knowledge economy receives from researchers and economic experts, The study derives its importance at the practical level ,through what it will get to help decision makers,?,The study aimed to identify the most important approaches used to measure the knowledge economy ,The study was based on the deductive approach through the documentation of many sources and the entrance of the accurate analysis in order to reach of the recommendations , The study came out with a number of conciusions and recommendations, the most important of them, There are no special benchmarks measuring the knowledge economy in all the international curricula, The most important recommendations to measure the knowledge economy based on specific indicators and criteria, that help in giving the optimal model.
