Abstract EN

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the faithful Prophet.

This research deals with a translation of the life of the keeper, the updater, and the expert Imam Abu Abdullah Mohammed bin Ismail Al-Bukhari, and the importance of the study arises from the greatness of Al-Bukhari’s status and his book which won the honor of the most authentic book in AlSunnah Al-Nabaweya as its author committed to the highest levels of credibility in the hadith.

Among the most prominent objectives of the research is to contribute to the efforts made by the sincere in serving and preserving the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

The study followed the descriptive analytical method in translating Bukhari and mentioning his compositions, explaining the importance of his book Al-Sahih, and comparing it with Sahih Muslim, and mentioning the reasons for people’s preference of Sahih Bukhari over Sahih Muslim (may God have mercy on them).

The study concluded that Al-Bukhari had been blessed by Allah with a strong memory and a precise recall that he invested in seeking knowledge of A’alm Al-hadith at a young age.

Also, his journeys and trips were because he had many sheikhs in every class of Al-hadith men.

The study also showed the efforts of scientists in serving AlSahih.

At the end of the research, the recommendations were to hold conferences and symposia, and the scholars indicated their efforts to serve the books of the Sunnah and its men and benefit from the technology in publishing and preserving it.
