Literature, in general, has been the focus of culture and one of its most important branches.

However, on a specific level, the genre of narration with its dialytic nature has been concerned with the ideological charge of the narrative texts, representing the notion of identity and its cultural repercussions, which have been manifested both by narrators in the form of semantic structures, based on contradictory ideologies, and through cultural political speeches, made by individuals or groups of great epistemological awareness and liberal intellects, capable of presenting opposing visions.The dimensions of the research objectives being essentially consistent with the ideology as a central structure of the text are strongly integrated with the syntactic units producing deep structures.

Constructivism, in its contemporary concept, is considered a primary research module, being an essential keystone in sociotextual criticism with its interest in intratextual linguistic tools and narration structures with the discourse units it includes.The novel “ Season of Migration to the North” by Tayeb Salih, has displayed different ideologies and various approaches to the Arabic Intelligentsia, with regard to the issue of identity crisis and its representations, ranging from stolen identity to dual identity problems, and starting from globalization in the colonial period, up to the inclusive perspective of the intellectual, to the world of postcolonial period.The ideological viewpoint of the novel has been represented inclusive to the world and rich with linguistic functions.

This is manifested through a network of semiotic references carefully created by the narrator across a range of semantically rich linguistic functions to narration structures and mechanisms.
