The research aims to know The Effectiveness of Educational - Learning Design Based on Herrmann Patterns in Development perceived cognitive competence of the Students of Fifth Art Class in The subject of Geography".

the researcher based on an experimental design of partial control (experimental group and control group) of dimensional test.

The search sample consists of (80) students of the fifth art class of Aisha Secondary School for Girls, by (40) students for the experimental group and (40) students for the control group.

The research required building an educational – learning design according to Hermann patterns, and acquired perceived cognitive competence measure that is prepared according to Pandora theory.

the veracity of the tests and their stability and calculation of their psychometric properties have been verified.

The researcher has applied the experience for a whole academic year 2017 – 2018, then the results has been processed by using the T-test for two independent samples and the results have outlined by The existence of differences in the average score of the acquired knowledge adequacy measure for the benefit of experimental group students who studied natural geography using the educational-learning design based on Hermann patterns on girls students of the control group who studied the same subject in the traditional teaching method.
