Abstract EN

This study deals with the rich people in Assiut Directorate in the period 1882 - 1919 AM and highlighting their social role which is represented in the establishment of katateb and schools and donating to them and to the Egyptian University , which confirms their conviction of the importance of spreading education in different stages as well as reflecting their personal culture as well as establishing hospitals and donating to them , highlighting their concern for the health of the people especially the poor.

Also their interested in religious institutions such as mosques and churches whether it is established or sponsored through donation to preserve the continuation of the performance of their religious duties and charities and charity markets and establishment of shelters and the care of orphans and foundings as an important aspect protects them from loose.

In addition to their interest in social crises that occurred in Egypt and others such as fires , floods and earthquakes and the press and religious and social events , this is addition to their interest in monuments , electricity and clubs.
