Abstract EN

The current study drives at activating programs of safety and occupational health using the balanced Scorecard (BSC).

The concern in programs of safety and occupational health emerges from conserving safety and health of employees in hospitals through providing them safe environments void from injuries and occupational diseases.

In order to evaluate the employees’ performance, the research organizations are directed to search for modern techniques and methods to be used for activating standards of safety and occupational health including the balanced Scorecard (BSC).

For achieving the study aims, a Questionnaire Form is designed through interviews that include a set of phrases that measures the sample’s attitudes towards the study variables.

The researcher has selected the research population from employees in Ain Shams Specialized Hospital.

The class sample is selected from all occupational levels and has included some demographic basic characteristics of the study sample, namely, age, sex, occupational level, scientific qualification, years of experience.The study comes to several results including the following: 1- There is a significant correlation between the balanced Scorecard (BSC) and activation of standards of safety and occupational health.

2- There is a significant correlation between dimensions of the balanced Scorecard (BSC) and improving the health service.
