We have focused in our study on the most important regional challenges facing the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council, as an institution, in addition to its individual members.

One of the most important regional challenges facing the council is the Iranian challenge, and the ineffective response by it and it's member states.

This ineffectiveness has come out of the disagreement between the member states of the council on the common threat to them as individual states and to the council as an institution.

The paper finishes with the conclusion that, the Iranian challenge has been shifted as a result of the positive development happening in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.

The active members of the conflict in Syria and Yemen have reached the agreement on ending their conflicts through peaceful means and through a third party.
